Hello, Everyone! I finally uploaded some pictures on Facebook of my first week here in Germany if you would like to see those. I haven’t sat down to write a full post in a bit so I will make sure to dedicate some time to that in the next few days or so, but it probably won’t get done today, in all honesty. I am reading Dracula for fun this summer and while the novel progresses slowly, it’s been very interesting and has just gotten to a good part, so that’s taken up a lot of my free time. I’ve also been watching too much Netflix. All of the Avenger’s movies are accessible on Netflix in Germany, unlike in the U.S. It has been a time-suck.
I spent the weekend in Trier, a town on the western side of Germany, and I even was in Luxembourg for a bit. I am still astonished at the open boarders here in Europe. I figured my passport would at least be glanced at, but we literally just kept driving and there wasn’t even a customs boarded or anything.
I will write more about that later, as I said. Hope everyone is doing well.
